The Curious Case of the Missing Nurses

The Curious Case of the Missing Nurses is a horror game where you take control of Layla Walsh, a young nurse who's about to work the longest shift of her life. Dragged into a hideously morphed version of the former hospital she once worked at, she learns death has now become a rare commodity.  Will she live through the night or become another one of the many disappearing nurses in the mysterious town of Brookvale.

Guide Layla through the unrelenting Undertow as she desperately tries to escape by finding as many bad-ends as possible. The actions you take will affect how certain scenes play out, and how her story eventually ends. Will she escape with her best friend Ada Hong, or will she become the plaything of the ghastly Doctor Ebert? 

Features:

- 40+ CG's featuring various damsels in damsely situations.

- Decisions you make in the Undertow not only affect the pool of game overs you can get, but also how certain scenes play out. Decide to just lie down and let the currents of The Undertow drag you along? That's cool you shouldn't be punished for that. How about fighting tooth and nail to survive? Also cool. Layla's dialogue will change depending on how you interact in certain scenes.

- Escape puzzles in order to get free from the baddies. 

- Boss fights varying from grotesque monsters to fellow damsels. 

- Different scenes depending on successfully defeating/losing to bosses or failing certain puzzles. Not only do these decisions have instant ramifications but Layla will also be seen differently by her peers after she leaves The Undertow.

Warning: 

May contain flashing lights and damsels in distress. Ok, well "may" is an understatement... on the damsels, not the flashing lights! (But there's still some flashing lights so be careful!)

That's a very good request Layla, what if you do want something spicier? 

Well in that case I have just the thing for you! Over at either my Patreon or SubscribeStar, at the $10 tier, you can find something with a little more zest. Almost all the scenes implemented into the game so far have extended versions (35 at the time of me writing this) that go a little further into the peppery side of things. So if that's a flavor you're interested in trying, why not head over there and give it a try?

-----As of right now the game ends just before Layla can leave the Undertow in the central elevator. The next update will include the final area and final confrontation along with all the endings.----

1.) When will the next update be out?

- Should be around Late September early October.

2.) Is there a walkthrough or guide available?

- Yes, I'll have that out by 07/26/24. 

3.) How many endings do you plan on having?

- At the moment 8 endings. Each ending will be determined based on 3 qualifying factors and how Layla is viewed after leaving The Undertow. 

4.) Some sprites don't match, will they be added in the next update?

- Yeah, I just hate sprite work and save that for the end ;p

5.) Can you play it on Mac or Android?

- I've created versions that SHOULD be compatible. But I have no way of testing it out since I don't have neither an Android or Mac device. I'm leaving it up to you guys to tell me if it works or not :p

6.) What does the spicy version include at the moment?

-At the moment it includes pretty much all the alternate versions of the already implemented scenes. So it's around 30ish CG's with spicy, tangy, oh so caleinte goodness.
